I lived in LO from 1904 to 09. This is an incredibly elitist liberal town with residents who think they are very special. One of the biggest problems that I witnessed was a very arrogant and cocky police department with a very political and incompetent chief. While I never had contact with the police department of a law enforcement nature, I did witness a very cocky wimpy Barney Fife lieutenant , who shortly thereafter resigned and go to work for the city of Wilsonville, address a citizen very rudely and then lie about it to the chief who accepted his word for it without checking with witnesses.
