Holiday Inn Express Portland SE - Clackamas Area

Had a great experience at this Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were well-kept, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel overall was in good shape. We got a room right by the river, which was a great view, but opening the sliding door let in all the noise from the adjoining freeway. The pool looked an odd green-ish color, but we didn't get the chance to go down to investigate. Also, the free buffet breakfast was great, including the AMAZING biscuits and gravy. Finally, the location is nice, in the same parking lot as a Safeway, and is about 20 minutes from PDX/downtown, depending on traffic.

Nice friendly staff. Clean. The floors are thin though, you can easily hear when people are walking around in the room above you.
