the idea of a lifetime warranty is a spin on sucking you into CONTINUALLY giving them money. when you swap out a broken product you have to pay shipping if you do it online. if you go to a kiosk, you have to pay an "installation fee" and simply exchanging to apply it yourself is not an option.
