University Place Hotel & Conference Center

I only stayed here because I attended a conference held here, otherwise I wouldn't recommended it. This place needs an update. My bed was hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were lumpy. Walls were thin. I could hear people in adjacent rooms and in the hallway. Free breakfast was mediocre; I'd recommend going out. The only thing this place has going for it is that it's on the train line and near places to eat. Coffee and food was less than a ten minute walk.

Hotel was clean for the most part, just seriously run down. They are slowly renovating it, emphasizing the SLOWLY. Staff was nice. Best part is the hotel has a station for the metro trains right in front of it. This makes it easy to explore all over town.
