I have always loved sushi, from my very first ever "starter" piece, the lovely California Roll, about twenty years ago. Since then, I have enjoyed a wide variety, including fried shrimp heads, and I have a special fondness for roe (fish eggs), which more and more sushi places are skimping on these days.
Recently, I have developed a tummy problem that only allows me to eat fish (Otherwise I writhe in horrible pain the next day). Don't worry, this is not a "TMI" post, this is a raving review for Umi Sushi!
I discovered that I can get it delivered, through DeliveredDish, and I can't get enough of it!
I have literally spent hundreds of dollars there over the past couple of weeks, and I can't say enough good things about their food, AND their customer service.
If I ask for something extra, I GET extra! Their fish is melt in your mouth fresh, and just as importantly, their rice is so fresh and wonderful it blends in with the roll. Too often I will like a sushi place's fish, but HATE their rice. If the rice is gummy, chewy, or otherwise tastes like it has sat out all day I won't eat it.
Umi Sushi is my go-to place for sushi, and I recommend it whole-heartedly!! I can't say enough good things about it.
