In an amazing land of world-class fishing, Jim is the go-to guy for all things fishing and hunting. Since coming to Gold Beach from hundreds of miles inland, I've had many new fishing methods to learn. Jim and his employees are patient and helpful, always knowing the best rigging and tackle to use. The local advice on how, when and where go is priceless. Before moving here, we spent 10 days in Gold Beach last summer. I went the the Rogue outdoor store twice and Jim greeted me by name the second time. A year later, he said "Hi Chris" when I walked in. There is no substitute for experience, this is the ONLY place we buy our sporting goods. Nice selection of outdoor clothing too.
