Nice looking place but the food left a lot to be desired. Meatballs were on the menu. When we inquired about the daily feature we were told that, since the restaurant had only been open for 5 days, that part of the menu was still being sorted out and wasn’t ready. We were offered a meatball appetizer from the bar menu which we ordered.
Meatballs looked good but were raw (not pink but RAW) in the middle. The wait staff was appropriately apologetic and took it away asking if we wanted something else. We declined and started the 20 minute wait for our entrees.
The pork was over cooked, dry and tough. Short rib special was okay. Generally speaking both were way over salted.
I don’t know if it was the residual effect of the raw meatballs, but neither me nor my dinner partner ate more than a few bites our entrees.
They were nice enough to comp our meal but we left hungry.
Disappointing doesn’t cover it.
