Paul's Shoe Repair Portland

Paul is a great guy offering great and prompt service at very fair prices. Most recently I took him my 8 year old Mephisto Spinnaker boat shoes, now called the Hurrikan, which had a suede leather upper that was heavily soiled--including coffee stains from too full Starbucks. I had tried two different suede shoe cleaning products, not cheap, with minimum results. I was ready to spend the $350 for a new pair before leaving on vacation but thought I would try a Hail Mary and give a shoe shop a chance at cleaning them. I dropped them off on a Monday and he told me they could be ready the next day. I didn't get back until Wednesday, and when I did I couldn't believe it was the same pair of shoes. I'm posting the picture of the Mephisto Spinnaker boat shoe that he cleaned and I swear that they look like they are new and the cost was all of $15. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
