One lane, unpaved, four mile round-trip winding uphill drive is best tackled with an AWD or 4WD vehicle - particularly if raining - or if it has rained recently. Apparently not well known. Little traveled, yet worth the ride if the weather is tolerable for the short hiking trail at the end of the lane’s small cul de sac. Muir Woods it ain’t - but these Oregon Redwoods are startlingly majestic. The "exciting" drive up and down - and the sense of isolation once you get there - make for a worthwhile trek.
Agggghhhh terrifying little road through the woods, huge holes, no pavement. Prepare to drive straight into the wild forest. And perhaps slide through the mud down a steep hill. Don't get stuck, there is no phone service. There were no giant trees as I expected. They live in California.
