We stopped into the Nicholas Lebanese Restaurant this afternoon and WOW! This was the best Mediterranean style restaurant we ever had. This may have even been one of the best meals we have had. I don't say that lightly. This isn't a big place but big enough. Prices were very reasonable too.
The first thing they do is bring out a huge pita like bread and some dipping items. We ordered a red pepper hummus and then shared Moroccan Spiced chicken in a rich gravy with a side of rice. Sandee topped it off with an iced Turkish coffee.
I don't normally post much on food places but this is worth the effort. If you ever get into the Portland, OR area you should give them a try. There are 3 Nicholas restaurants in the Portland area.
