Used Karmanauto to have a used ECU for my 2006 Subaru Outback reprogrammed with my vin number. Dealer quoted me over $1200 to replace the computer claiming that these units could not be reprogrammed with a new vin. I found their website using google and as far as I know, they seem to be the only ones out there offerings this service. Paid $100 and sent the ecu out, turnaround time to ship from PA to Oregon and get it back was very quick. 10 days I believe. After I got it back I went to the dealer and had them program my key to the now reprogrammed ecu and install it and now everything is working as it should and I am able to have my emissions test run and get it inspected! Total cost spent was $250 so I saved about $1000! For that I thank you. I just think the communication could be better hence my 4 star review. Still, everything went smooth and I thank you for offering this service
