If you do nothing else for yourself, spend an hour a week with Carey! One pilates class a week with Carey will do more for your overall health and fitness than hours in the gym by yourself. Since I began working with Carey, I’ve seen remarkable improvements in my balance, flexibility, strength and overall physique — and this from someone who’s been an athlete his whole life! I have found that Pilates engages and works complete muscle groups in ways no other workout has been able to do. It has even helped me recover from sports injuries. Carey is a wonderful teacher and trainer. Her sessions are dynamic and fun and her coaching style is so encouraging and subtle that you forget you’re being “trained”. She also has a innate sense of what you’re able to do on any given day. I love the fact that she tailors each session to what I need, rather than following some pre-set routine. I’d recommend her classes to anyone who simply wants to find a way to look and feel better.
Carey has a strong knowledge of the body and an amazing presence. I started at the studio a couple of months ago and I'm addicted. The studio is beautiful and Carey has top of the line equiptment. I've noticed huge changes in my body since beginning Pilates and I am so glad I found Hanu Pilates
