Dave's Diesel Technology Corp.

I recently purchased a 2004 Ford Excursion from a friend who had given up on it. His (self proclaimed) "World's Best Diesel Mechanic" located in Portland kept changing parts and could not figure out what was causing the loss of power, hard starts, odd oil pressure gauge readings, etc. In fact, after thousands of dollars spent, the mechanic informed my friend that the lower end of his 6.0 L was shot after only 150k miles and that a new engine at the cost of $11,000 was needed. I took the Excursion to Dave and before I could explain the entirety of the situation he had diagnosed the problem. He told me to bring the vehicle in the next day, that it would cost approximately $1500 to repair and that it would be completed by the end of the same day The following day I dropped it off with Dave. That afternoon he called and said it was repaired, problem Solved.....ON TIME & UNDER BUDGET. Some one needs to inform the Portland mechanic that there's a new "World's Best Diesel Mechanic" and he resides in Milton-Freewater. Shane L.
