Best Value Inns - Portland

The place smells from the first step in the door. There is no one at the desk, until you ring the bell, so anyone can, and apparently does. During my time there, someone opened my door, twice, and came in! Mgmnt said they had the right to do so, to make sure someone had rented the room. What?!! Said they have a problem with homeless/drug people. So use cameras!! I would have left immediatly, but no refunds are allowed, and they charge a deposit. I wouldn't let my dead dog stay here...
